A sprayer that uses a boom equipped with a nozzle to spray the agent. The types of booms include horizontal horizontal booms, vertical booms, and hanging booms; they are divided into two categories according to how they are matched with the tractor: hanging type and towing type.
The working part of the hanging boom sprayer is mainly composed of a liquid tank, a liquid pump, a boom, a nozzle, a pressure regulating valve, etc. Commonly used liquid pumps include column (piston) pumps, diaphragm pumps, roller pumps, centrifugal pumps, etc. The horizontal horizontal boom adopts a truss structure, which is composed of several sections and can be folded. There are two folding methods: manual folding and hydraulic cylinder folding. Commonly used nozzles are conical mist nozzles and fan-shaped mist nozzles, and most of them are equipped with anti-drip devices. Their structural type is a ball valve type or diaphragm type one-way valve.
The working principle of the suspended boom sprayer: The liquid pump is usually driven by the power output shaft of the tractor to transfer the liquid in the liquid tank to the sprayer through the control valve and the infusion pipeline at a certain pressure. When the spray liquid pressure at the nozzle reaches the preset value, the anti-drip device automatically opens, and the liquid sprays out from the nozzle to form droplets and sprays to the target. The spray pressure is adjusted by the pressure regulating valve. The amount of spray can be adjusted by adjusting the spray pressure or replacing nozzles with different apertures. When the sprayer stops spraying at the end of the field or in the middle of the field, and the spray liquid pressure at the nozzle is less than the preset value, the anti-drip device automatically closes, thereby playing an anti-drip role. The water in the liquid tank is generally added by the same liquid pump, but on some large traction boom sprayers, a centrifugal pump with a large flow rate is added to add water to the liquid tank. The height of the spray boom from the ground during operation is controlled by a mechanical or hydraulic adjustment mechanism. The horizontal balance of the spray boom is achieved by an automatic balancing mechanism. There is an elastic automatic return mechanism between the two side spray booms and the middle spray boom. During the operation, when the two side spray booms pass over the field obstacles, they can automatically return to their original positions. On the spray booms with a spray width greater than 12 meters, there is usually a mechanical or electronic automatic profiling mechanism to ensure that the distance of the spray boom relative to the ground remains basically unchanged during operation.
The spray boom sprayer has automatic control of the forward spray volume, synchronous spraying, hydraulic lifting and hydraulic folding of the spray boom, automatic control and display of operating parameters, safe and efficient, energy-saving and low-consumption, and reduced use costs. Various operating parameter display instruments will be installed on the machine to keep track of the operating data such as the operating speed of the spray unit, the amount of liquid sprayed per unit area, the cumulative operating area, and the hourly productivity, so that the operator can monitor and analyze them to ensure the quality of the operation.
