Points to note when maintaining a boom sprayer

If the boom sprayer is improperly operated or stored before, during, or after use, it is very easy to corrode, thus shortening its service life. Therefore, the following points should be noted when maintaining it:
① Before use, check whether the connections of the sprayer are leaking. Operate in accordance with the instructions to check and adjust the status of each component. Lubricate the lubrication points and keep the machine clean.
② During use, after we add the liquid, the liquid level should be kept below the safe water level. Before spraying, first turn the rocker to raise the air pressure in the barrel to the working pressure. Note that the rocker should not be turned too hard to avoid bursting the air chamber.
③ After use, check the sprayer to see if there is water in the air chamber and whether there is residual liquid in the barrel. It is recommended to wash it with alkaline water, then wash it with clean water and dry it upside down. Remove the V-belt, spray hose, etc. and wash them together. The inner tube wall of the sprayer and nozzle should be rinsed with engine oil to prevent moisture and rust. Then place it in a cool and dry place with the machine body. Also pay special attention to cleaning the oil stains on the pump and the concave areas at the bottom of the liquid barrel.
Note that the sprayer that has been used to spray herbicides should be distinguished from other sprayers and cannot be used to spray insecticides and fungicides.
